I could only take '76 for so long, so I dusted off this gem. Why does this dynamite show not garner more attention?

Now I'm not a huge fan of this September mini-tour, at least not compared to the magical music from Oct/Nov, but the horns work here, and the Let it Grow so nicely jazzy!Though quite mellow, the China/Rider transition is superbly jammed, and the short but very sweet Playin' covers plenty of ground as well.

Perhaps a bit too layed back at times for some, but there is alot going on here, much it instigated by Phil, who frequently throws his weight around, making for some very unique passages. Particularly during Morning Dew, which follows what is certainly one of the best Dark Stars of '73.

I shouldnt complain, the Lanum file really is terrific, but how about an upgrade for this show? Certainly one of the best of 1973...

Thanks for bringing this show to my attention! I may now have a new favorite out of the 12 or so Dark Star-> Dews and the China Rider transition was everything you said and more.

OUTSTANDING WEATHER REPORT W/ MARTIN!!!

And a very good Dew, with an AUD patch that actually works once you're familiar with it.

I like the Row Jimmy as well.

The rest is not strong, but it's not bad.

Good stuff. Thanks Cliff.

Cliff is this truly the only source or the only source here? I'm not sure what I have, but I recall it sounds fine to me. How can I check as I don't have the lineage, it was a snail mail trade? This version has an aud patch in Dew right?

FWIW db.etree only lists the one source.
